Journey Through Aging – November 12, 2011

The Journey Through Aging Radio Program is dedicated all month to the topic of Alzheimer’s Awareness.  On November 12, 2011 program we look at what Alzheimer’s disease can teach us about spirituality, what is normal aging, Alzheimer’s disease defined and we end our program with a song.

Segment 1 – Mary Ann Walker with the Cleveland Alzheimer’s Association branch talks with Joel about some lessons we learn from Alzheimer’s disease and tips on communicating with some who has memory loss.

Segment 2 – Joel speaks with Michele Stokes who is with the Gerlach Center of Senior Health about what is normal aging

Segment 3 – Dr. Roger Landry with Masterpiece Living adds to the conversation about Alzheimer’s Disease by helping understand what Alzheimer’s is and what steps we can take to lower our risks of developing Alzheimer’s disease.

Segment 4 – Dr. Al Power with Eden Alternative provides Joel and the listening audience with a song from an older person perspective.
